Residential Air Conditioning
The Big Difference
We at Big Air Strive to go the extra mile and offer reliable, on time, honest service.
Residential Service
Our service technicians are all professional and honest. We typically have a response time of 1-3 hours from when you call, to when we are on site, dealing with your issue.

We charge $125 to come out to your home and diagnose the issue. After diagnosis, out technician will provide you with an estimate for repair, along with photos of the issue. If a specialty part is needed, the office will contact you to schedule a follow up visit.

Residential Install
In the unfortunate event that a majorly expensive repair is needed, along with the quote for the repair, you will also be provided with a quote for replacement. We will work with you to find which unit best fits your comfort needs, as well as your budget. We primarily work with Trane, but we offer all major brands. Trane has a great reputation for good reason, they put alot of work into making sure their units will work as intended, for a long time. The wait time for a new system is typically 1-3 days.

All of our installs include a 1 year full warranty, which includes all labor and materials. Anything that goes wrong in the first year will be completely covered by our warranty. Excludes any damage that was caused by an external source such as a tree falling on your unit. This also includes a 1 week checkup on your unit, and a 6 month checkup and cleaning on your unit.

Residential Maintenance
Thorough Maintenances
We perform a thorough maintenance that, if performed on a regular basis, will significantly extend the life of your system. We always take pictures of everything. If our technicians recommend anything to you there will be pictures of the problem, along with an explanation of how performing the repair will extend the life of your system.
Cleaning The System
Regularly cleaning important compenents of the system will help to ensure the system remains working properly throughout its lifetime.

When we come out for your first maintenance we have a simple test we can run that will allow us to determine the total cooling capacity of your system.
Cleaning the Coils
Regularly Cleaning the evaporator and condenser coil will ensure that they do not experience any buildup, from dirt, growth, scaling, or any other kinds of problems.

Any blockage of airflow, or coating of the fins that might cause a lower rate of heat transfer, will cause the system to run less efficiently, and lose a significant amount of capacity overtime.

A Germicidal UVC bulb can be used on either side of the evaporator coil to keep it free from any growth. This really works to significantly reduce any buildup on the coil.
Cleaning Blower Wheel
During our maintenances we blow and dust collected on your blower wheel off with compressed air.

Unfortunately cleaning with anything other than air is not possible unless you remove the blower from the air handler, and them remove the motor from the housing. The motor cannot get wet or it will break. After removing the motor the fins of the blower wheel can easily be cleaned in whatever method is necessary. This is called a "pull and clean" and would incur an extra charge.
Cleaning Drain Line and Drain Pan
One of the main things we do during our maintenance is clean the drain pan, and clear out the drain line.

We clean the drain pan of any growth that may be there. We clear out your drain line, and treat it as well, to ensure that there will not be any blockages that form before our next visit.
